What were the Jim Crow laws?

Jim Crow laws stated the fact until 1960s. It confirmed that people were 'seperate but equal'. Jim Crow Laws would separate everyone in public life: basis of race.
Although they were separate, there was definitely no equality. Example: African-Americans had to sit seperated from the whites in a train.

Who is Rosa Parks?

An activist who rejected to give up her seat ('black seat') in the bus for a white people, she got arrested (she did this on purpose). The african-americans supported Rosa by walking to school instead of going by bus.
