How does adiponectin work?

Inhibits food intake. It is a GI peptide hormone that is released during feeding to aide with digestrion. It is also released from cells in the brain stem and hypothalamus. When CCk is released during a meals it binds to CCK1 receptors on the vagus nerv that signals the hindbran that fat/protein has meen ingested.
