Why do asp's use multiple theories?

As each single theory typically focuses on a limited set of variables, problems may be better understood when studies from different theoretical perspectives. Some theories may be more applicable than others, depending on the problem at hand.

How are intervention techniques chosen?

They are chosen by the extent to which they are effective in addressing specific factors that contribute substantially to the particular problem behaviour. One should know which factors cause or inhibit behavior before designing intervention programmes to change it.

Why do we use multiple research methods?
