Caesarea Philippi (Mark 8:27-33)
- On the way to Caesarea Philippi he asked his disciples 'Who do people say I am'?
- They replied 'John the Baptist; Elijah, one of the prophets'
- 'What about you? What do you say I am' Peter: 'You are the Christ.' Jesus warned them not to tell anyone.

Parallels between healing of a blind man and Caesarea Philippi
- sight - physical sight/spiritual 'sight'
- out of the public eye - Jesus took the man out of Bethsaida /on the way to Caesarea Philippi
- Two-fold structure - healing action performed twice/two questions for the disciples
- Partial sight first time - blurry vision(men as walking trees)/at first said people saw him as Elijah, John etc.

Healing of the Blind man at Bethsaida (Mark 8:22-26)
- blind man brought to him at bethsaida and was begged to touch him.
- Jesus took the blind man by hand out of Bethsaida and spat on his eyes, then placed his hand on him and asked if he could see anything. He replied that he could see people but like trees walking about. Jesus placed his hand on the man's eyes and the man could see clearly.
- Jesus sent him home but told him not to return to Bethsaida

Jesus in the Temple-Court (Mark 11:15-18)
- On reaching Jerusalem, Jesus entered the temple courts and began driving out those who were buying and selling there. He overturned the tables of the money changers and the benches of those selling doves,and would not allow anyone to carry merchandise through the temple courts.
