To lose weight and keep it off, you have to make sure that you're energy intake and your energy consumption are in equilibrium. It is therefore not good to skip meals/ less than recommended because you can miss out on essential nutrients

2 If you eat snacks, choose something with not much fat or carbohydrates.
3 Eat only the recommended quantities. This often means more bread, more fruit, more vegetables, less meat and less cheese.
