why are the most churches so big?
to impress people, at the time they were build, the majority of the people went to the church every day or at least once a week -
why did they build chaples?
to thank God,mary or a holy saint, to memorise victims of a war or a disaster, to impress: a rich men or family build it, they are smaller, intimate and cosy. -
what are non-conformist Christians?
people who do believe in Christ and Christianity, but not in the church as a system, the pope and in Rome. these people are indivualists -

in the beginning of the church the most people couldn't write or read. so the priests told stories, and also stories about saints. they used pictures to substantiate this story. the pictures show the saints as strong people who died on a cruel way.
