What are evaluation criteria?
These are what the consumers want in a product. The evaluation criteria are a subset of product attributes.
Do all features of a product become evaluation criteria?
No, only those that meet some need or address some motive. Thus a motive and an available feature together make an evaluation criterion.
Do the evaluation criteria stay the same during the decision process?
No, when we enter the marketplace we have an initial and tentative set of criteria in mind; later, we construct more/or drop some as we gather information.
