Dscribes the corner-to-corner use of a stall, because of a lack of space. -
What is lying backwards?
Lying backwards describes cows resting with their heads facing the alley in free-stall barns. This unwanted behaviour leads to manure at the front of the stable and extra labour for cleaning -
