There would be a disruption of agriculture/economy more civilians killed and because of famines people die because of lack of food than the direct violence. (when development does not help more conflict will arise because of the hunger). Also a lit of disabled person, when civil war is over, they are not capable to work on the land. Of course there are psychological traumas as well, it is difficult to help these people, when there is a whole generation of  people that are traumatized.
