Here not only the manner in which the process is performed changes, but also the people who perform it will differ, such as role changes or a new set of people that are now involved. Moreover, the manner in which people interact with the technology also changes. This change usually occurs when the information intensity of the process being performed changes substantially due to new digital technologies. -
Explain the third (transform) order change
It involves first and second order changes, but in addition it causes organizational structure disruptions. It is the most radical level of change, which is why it is also called transform. A flatter organizational structure usually emerges after the implementation.
