What is the European court of human rights?
Rules on individual or State applications alleging violations of the civil and political rights set out inthe European Convention on Human Rights.

What is the Council of EU or "The council of the ministers"?
The Council of the EU is the institution representing the member states' governments.
It is where national ministers from each EU country meet to adopt laws and coordinate policies. The presidency of the Council of the EU rotates among member states every six months. -
What are the main tasks of the Council of EU?
1. Negotiates and adopts EU laws
2. Coordinates member states' policies
3. Develops the EU's common foreign and security policy
4. Concludes international agreements
5. Adopts the EU budget -
What is the president-elect of the European Commission?
The president-elect selects 27 other member states on the basis of suggestions made by the member states. The final list has to be agreed between the council and the president-elect and needs the parliament consent. -
What are GD's/Services in the European commission?
- Commission’s work as done in departments, known as Directorates-General or services, each responsible for a particular policy area and headed by a Director-General.
- The DGs draft laws, but their proposals become official only once the College of Commissioners adopts them during its weekly meeting.
- The DGs also manage funding initiatives at EU level, carry out public consultations and communication activities.
- The Commission also administers a number of executive agencies, which help the European Commission manage EU programmes. -
What is the European court of justice?
It reviews the legality of the acts of the institutions of the European Union, it ensures that the Member States comply with obligations under the Treaties, and
interprets European Union law at the request of the national courts and tribunals.
It is made of 28 judges (1 per member state) and 9 advocates generals. These are appointed by the members states governments for a period of 6 years. They elect a president and vice-president among themselves. -
What is the International criminal court?
An independent international organisation,not part of the United Nations system and is also seated in The Hague (Netherlands) -

What is the property law?
The law of property is the law dealing with the property of things like tangible (cars, land, buildings) and intangible (Intellectual property, right to perfomance by another) assets. -
What is the difference between property right and personal right?
Property right has effect on third parties by its own nature while personal rights are generally only binding between 2 oir more specific parties.
What depends of these laws depends from one legal system to the other.
