What is the naming convention (naamgeving) of an activity?

- At the lowest level the activity names all start with a verb:
  • Identify users, Develop system interaction, Estimate license costs, Describe requirements.
- At higher levels phase names can be nouns:
  • Requirements, Implementation.

What are the different types of activities?

- Standard activity: activity without sub-activities (atomic activity);
- Complex activity: with sub-activities
  • Open activity: sub-activities are known in this context, i.e. the meta-model details can be found in this or another meta-model of the method engineering study at hand.
  • Closed activity: sub-activities are not known in this context.

What are concurrent activities?

Concurrent activities are executed in parallel.
