What is the difference between estrus and estrous?
Estrus is a noun. 'The cow is displaying estrus.'
Estrous is an adjective. 'The lenght of an estrous cycle in the pig is 21 days.'
What is the luteal phase?
The luteal phase is the period from ovulation until corpora lutea regression. during this phase the dominant ovarian structures are the corpora lutea and the primary reproductive hovone is progestrone.
How can the metestrus period be defined?
The metestrus is the period between ovulation and the formation of functional corpora lutea. .
