What do Evangelical protestants believe about salvation?
Evangelical Protestant- God's justice requires human beings to be punished for sins, God took punishment through Jesus' death on cross - Penal Substitution theory salvation comes through Jesus' act of atonement. -
What do Liberal Protestants believe about salvation?
Liberal Protestant- Jesus brought atonement by acting as an example. Jesus' life shows God's love humans should be inspired to follow him + repent from sins - living Christian life + following Jesus= salvation.
