What is the Oviduct/Fallopian tube (eileider):
Are about 10 cm long and carries the eggs from the ovary to the uterus. Fertilization happens in the fallopian tubes. The end of each tube has finger like projections called fimbria, which "catch"the egg. -

What is Myometrium (smooth muscle)?
This is the thickest layer of tissue in the uterine wall. It contains smooth muscle fibres, blood vessels and nerves. -
