    1. It can help to clarity issues of research design. This is more than the design of research tools, it means overarching structure of the researfch including the kind of evidence that is being gathered, from where and how it is going to be interpreted.
    2. A knowledge of research philosophy will help the researcher to recognize which designs will work and which not.

    With constructivism, meaning is constructed from the interplay between the object and subject,
    with subjectivism, meaning is constructed by imposing on the object from the subject.
