Stealing Senario: Blinds are 50/100. You raise with A-10 before the flop. Only the big blind calls. The pot is now 700. The flop comes Kc-8s-4d. The big blind now checks. Which amount would be the best betting strategies in order for you to steal the blind and why?a. 425b. 575c. 700d. All of the above
425 should do the trick. When attempting to flat out steal, a bet of 1/2, 3/4, or pot size will generally give you sufficient information on whether your opponent hit the flop. In this senario, however a bet of 1/2 or pot would most likely yield the same results, so there is not need to risk the whole pot, when the smaller amount will do. -
Stealing Senario: Blinds are 50/100. You raise with 4c-4h before the flop. Only the big blind calls. The pot is now 700. The flop comes Kc-8s-4d. The big blind now checks. Which amount would be the best betting strategies in order for you to induce a call from your opponents why?a. 425b. 575c. 700d. All of the above
Again the same 425 should be fine. You have a monster hand and the half size rather than pot size bet will prompt a few more loose calling type players to call. -
