    In case of autopilot failure or electric trim failure, accomplish the following two items simultaneously
    1. Airplane control wheel GRASP FIRMLY
    2. AP DISC TRIM INT switch PRESS AND HOLD
    3. Airplane attitude MAINTAIN/REGAIN AIRPLANE CONTROL
    4. Trim RETRIM AIRPLANE MANUALLY 
    5. TRIM circuit breaker PULL
    6. AP DISC TRM INT switch RELEASE
  • Emergency landing without engine power

    1. Seats, seat belts, shoulder harnesses ADJUSTED AND SECURE
    2. Confirm that all persons on board are prepared
    Final approach
    1. Advise all persons on board: BRACE FOR IMPACT 2x
    2. Fuel selector CLOSED
    3. Mixture IDLE CUT-OFF
    4. Fuel pump OFF
    5. Magneto selector OFF
    6. Landing gear lever AS REQUIRED
    7. Flaps AS REQUIRED
    8. Main switch OFF
    Prior to touchdown
    1. Maintain airspeed at Vref. Flare the airplane to achieve the minimum rate of descent at touchdown. Keep nose high. Avoid obstacles
    2. Touchdown WITH THE LOWEST POSSIBLE AIRSPEED
    Immediately after the airplane has come to a rest
    Go to evacuation checklist
  • Engine failure in flight

    1. Glide speed 92 KIAS
    2. Fuel selector SWITCH TANKS
    3. Mixture FULL RICH
    4. Fuel pump ON
    5. Alternate air AS REQUIRED
    6. Magneto selector BOTH
    7. Engine instruments CHECK
    8. Fuel quantity CHECK


    If the engine does not start:
    1. Mixture IDLE CUT-OFF
    2. Throttle 1/2 OPEN
    If propeller is stopped
    1. Starter ENGAGE
    If propeller is turning
    1. Mixture SLOWLY ENRICH UNTIL RE-START
  • Electrical fire in flight

    1. Visually detect smoke and/or flames
    2. Main switch OFF
    3. Cabin air cooling & demisting FIRE CUT-OFF
    4. Disengage pull-off type circuit breaker of BUS bar 1, BUS bar 2 and BUS bar 3
    If fire is in cabin
    1. ALTr FLD switch breaker OFF
    2. All electrical switches (except magnetos) OFF
    3. Fire extinguisher ACTIVATE
    4. Confirm fire is out


    Go to QRH checklist
  • Engine fire during start

    1. Visually detect smoke and/or flames
    2. Starter CONTINUE STARTING (MAX. 10 SEC.)
    3. Fuel selector OFF
    4. Mixture IDLE CUT-OFF
    5. Throttle FULL OPEN
    6. Fuel pump OFF
    7. Cabin air cooling & demisting FIRE CUT-OFF
    If fire continues
    Go to evacuation checklist
  • Engine fire during take-off

    1. Visually detect smoke and/or flames
    If during ground roll
    1. Abort take-off 
    2. Throttle IDLE
    3. Rudder MAINTAIN DIRECTIONAL CONTROL
    4. Brakes AS REQUIRED
    5. Fuel selector CLOSED
    6. Mixture IDLE CUT-OFF
    7. Throttle FULL OPEN
    8. Fuel pump OFF
    9. Cabin air cooling & demisting FIRE CUT-OFF
    Go to RTO follow-up checklist
    If after lift-off
    1. Consider safest course of action

    If engine shutdown is necessary
    1. Fuel selector OFF
    2. Mixture IDLE CUT-OFF
    3. Throttle FULL OPEN
    4. Fuel pump OFF
    5. Cabin air cooling & demisting FIRE CUT-OFF
    Go to engine failure after take-off checklist
  • Engine fire in flight

    1. Visually detect smoke and/or flames
    2. Consider safest course of action
    If engine shutdown is necessary
    1. Fuel selector OFF
    2. Mixture IDLE CUT-OFF
    3. Throttle FULL OPEN
    4. Fuel pump OFF
    5. Cabin air cooling & demisting FIRE CUT-OFF
    After engine has stopped
    1. Magneto selector OFF
    2. ALTr FLD switch breaker OFF
    3. Confirm fire is out
    If fire continues 
    1. Consider increasing speed as much as possible in an attempt to blow out the fire
