Incremental change is linear in nature and often focusses on inovating already existing products or production methods by making the energy use more efficient for example.
System change is non-linear in nature and tries to overcome boundaries of existing products and production methods in a more fundamental way. -

When the impact is low, even if the chance something occurs is high. -
