why are some fungi useful and other harmful?
fungi who feeds on the remains of dead remains of organisms are useful. like bacteria they are important in the recycling of nutrients. harmful bacteria can make food decay. fungi who disease in plants, animals and human beings are harmfull. fungal who make a infection is also harmful. -
where doe multicellular fungi consist of?
multicellular fungi consist of long, thin threads or cells, the hyphae they reproduce by making spores. a spore is a single cell that (withoud fertilization) can grow into a new organism. many fungi have special organs in which the spores are made :the toadstools. -
